Evaluation of Reliability and Validity of Persian Version of Children’s Dermatology Life Quality Index (CDLQI) Questionnaire and Practical Use

Background: Atopic dermatitis is a common skin disease in children. Severe pruritus and eczematous lesions may interfere with the quality of life patients. Objectives: This study was designed to assess validity reliability Persian version children’s dermatology index questionnaire. Methods: After obtaining final acceptance by first developers questionnaire for developing version, it distributed 100 children affected atopic aged 5 15 years. We analyzed data SPSS18. Then, we evaluated Kaiser criterion Cronbach’s alpha. Results: Questions number 1 (itching) 6 (sports activities) achieved highest lowest scores, respectively. alpha assessed as 0.87, demonstrating good reliability. Inter-item correlation coefficients ranged from 0.24 0.69. A one-factor structure scree plot. Conclusions: Our demonstrated Life Quality Index Questionnaire. There significant positive relationship between severity score life. However, there no demographic features participants.
